Colors of Play, LLC uses a comprehensive and therapeutic approach that enhances functioning level, allows for self-expression and improves quality of life. Children are encouraged to express themselves regardless of their medical condition, verbal or motor skills. This is achieved by utilizing art in its many forms and styles to nurture the child’s emotional, physical, sensory, and cognitive development.Through creative non-threatening interventions individuals learn to build skills, increase coping, and achieve personal goals. Self-expression and imagination are emphasized together with a structured, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
Pamela Ullmann, founder of Colors of Play, LLC has recently formed a non-profit organization in order to service more children and families in northern NJ and the NY tri-state area who are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. Healing Arts Family Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to bringing comprehensive Creative Arts Therapies to special-needs children and overstressed families. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children and families through the healing powers of creative expression.
