Groups in the Community

Group work is a very important aspect to Colors of Play’s therapeutic programming. We conduct groups for our partner agencies that offer many children and families services that can help them process difficult situations and deal with emotional and behavioral challenges.

Healing Arts Family Connection

Our affiliate organization, Healing Arts Family Connection (HAFC) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization devoted to bringing comprehensive Creative Arts Therapies to special-needs children and overstressed families. HAFC is dedicated to creating more groups in the community. Similar to the work of Colors of Play, HAFC’s mission is to enrich the lives of children and families through the healing powers of creative expression. With the ability to access resources, grants and funding, HAFC will be able to offer more programming to the underserved areas in the NJ/NY Metropolitan area.
